CDK Dental is a Sydney CBD dentist practice located on Castlereagh Street. We were established over 20 years ago with the vision of creating a multi-disciplined state-of-the-art dental facility.
Our principal dentist is Dr Chris Karikios. We also have a hygienist and oral therapist, practice manager and clinical staff.
Our dental team is dedicated to helping patients achieve their goals for their smiles while exceeding their expectations in every way. We enjoy meeting new patients and developing long-term relationships. Feel free to take a moment and learn a little about us by reading below.
Dr Chris Karikios
“We constantly strive for better."
This is the simple statement that Dr Chris Karikios applies to his dental practice, whether through the use of technology, continuing education or patient feedback.
Dr Chris Karikios has lived in Sydney’s eastern suburbs all his life. After attending Sydney Boys High, he graduated from Sydney University in 1987 and has worked in Sydney ever since.
Dr Chris Karikios’s prime area of interest is the use of virtual reality design in clinical dentistry, primarily with the CEREC system – a facet of dentistry which he and his staff constantly refine with continuing education.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys water activities, particularly surfing – a passion he shares with his wife and two children.
Lorraine has been at our practice for 18 years. By combining 40 years of experience in the dental industry with her passion for dentistry, she ensures that from the moment a patient walks through the door or calls us, they are treated with the utmost professionalism and respect.
Lorraine has also worked in the role of dental assistant, so has a great depth of knowledge in most areas of dentistry. Do not hesitate to ask any questions that you might have regarding any dental issues.
Away from the surgery, Lorraine loves to spend time with her three children and eight grandchildren.
Gabriela's inital engagement with CDK Dental was in early 2017 and has since become a permanent member of the team.
Gabriela completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at University of Qld in 2008 and is as passionate about Oral Health today as she was when she graduated. Her comprehensive approach to treatment, extensive experience, friendly nature and gentle clinical skills has made her a favourite with all the patients and she is a valuable asset to the team.
Outside of work Gabriela loves the active outdoor lifestyle that Sydney has to offer, often participating in community sporting events like Tough Mudder, City2Surf and Relay4Life whilst raising money for charity. She also supports the Cronulla Sharks NRL team. And is also a bit of a foodie and loves exploring the restaurant scene.
